What Mike's up to
I'm currently building and maintaining a computational pipeline to gain a genomics perspective on the nature of behavioral, cognitive, and morphological variation within the rhesus macaque population on Cayo Santiago (Puerto Rico).
To do this, I'm analyzing whole genome sequence data from hundreds of pedigreed and phenotyped animals. Next steps involve exploring the associations between different types of genomic variants and the population's vast biological database.
