Primates possess an exquisite capacity to reason. I investigate the neural circuits that underlie this sophisticated ability from the perspective of foraging through internal spaces. Utilizing visual foraging tasks to understand how primates collect information, my work reveals the computational machinery used and re-used to gather information to make inferences about the world.
