Undergraduate Student

In my final year as an undergraduate student at Penn, I’m enjoying the opportunity to work in the Platt lab primarily on the explore-exploit dilemma in humans - that is, when people decide to continue taking from a depleted or depleting resource, and when to take the risk to explore new options.

My passion is learning more about why people do what they do and how we can influence people to do better. My time here in the lab is so exciting because it gives me the ability to do just that through research, delving into the differences of people trying something new or continuing to do the same thing. And it gives me the opportunity to do that with some incredible, forward-thinking people!
