I'm a neuroscience graduate student co-mentored by Michael Platt and Josh Gold. Currently, I am working on a project to study the neural and behavioral mechanisms of transcranial magnetic stimulation and how this can help treat depression.
Prior to coming to Penn, I worked at the NIH for two years as a Postbaccalaureate Fellow in the National Institute of Mental Health Transgenic Core Facility. I received my B.S. from the University of Virginia in Biology and Psychology.
I'm also an active member of NGG GLIA, the Neuroscience Graduate Group's student-led organziation for outreach, professional development, public relations, and community building.
When not in lab or school, I enjoy exploring Philly, playing sports, finding delicious foods and beverages, going to concerts, and tearing up the dance floor.
